Santa Eulalia to Es Cana Day Trip | An Itineary

So you’ve arrived in Es Cana eager to start your day trip. Here’s a recommended itinerary for your day in Es Cana:

Walking Through Town and Taking in the Scenery

Take the first part of the morning looking around the resort of Es Cana. Es Cana is a popular resort for British tourists. The resort is packed with excellent all-inclusive hotels and little apartments. Many choose Es Cana to be away from the more lively resorts of San Antonio and Playa den Bossa. If you walk up the street from the left side of the beach and turn right, you’ll find the main shopping area. You might even find a souvenir along the way.

At the end of the shopping street, turn right and follow the coast around and back to the beach. You’ll be amazed at the stunning sea views and get a glimpse of the resort’s hotels.

Lunch in Es Cana/ Es Cana Restaurants

If you’re on a budget, there’s a huge array of takeaways on the road to the left of Es Cana beach. There are also some lovely cafes and restaurants along the beach with outdoor seating overlooking the sea. We ate at Casa Juan Resturaunte with no regrets.

Es Cana Beach

Time for some relaxation! After a long morning (even longer if you’ve walked!), it’s time to hit the beach. This medium-sized beach has a backdrop of beach cafes and palm trees with amazingly crystal clear water. There are plenty of sun loungers to hire and a good range of water sports. If you’re still feeling energetic, there’s windsurfing, parasailing, and stand-up paddle-boarding. Kids will love the pedalos.

A Visit to the Hippy Market in Punta Arabi

If you happen to be visiting Es Cana on a Wednesday. You’ll find a huge variety of handmade items from all over the world. There’s usually live music too, which really adds to the atmosphere.

To find out the opening times during your visit or to find out more about the market, visit the Hippy Market Facebook page.

Cala Nova Beach

Surrounded by trees and Ibizan hills, Cala Nova beach is very different to the bustling beach of Es Cana. There are still sun-loungers to hire and a small beach bar. The beach is just around the corner from Es Cana beach. If you’re feeling adventurous, there are many walks in and around the beach area through the trees lining the beach.
