Playa Blanca Lanzarote – The Best Place To Stay In Lanzarote For A Family Holiday in The Sun

Playa Blanca is the third largest resort in Lanzarote, built with tourists in mind. There are three main beaches in Playa Blanca – Dorado Beach and Flamingo Beach. Both beaches are seasonally staffed with lifeguards and feature crystal clear waters which is shallow and warm – perfect for families. 2km down the road you’ll find Papagayo beach, the most famous of Lanzarote’s beaches.

Playa Blanca is in close proximity to Timanfaya national park where kids will love to see the volcanic landscape where they’ll feel like they’re in another world as well as watching food be cooked from the heat emerging from the ground.

There’s a host of amenities to suit all the families in Playa Blanca from the huge shopping centre and recreational centre to the historical old town. The entire seafront has stunning views of the neighbouring islet of Lobos and the island of Fuerteventura.

The Rubicon Palace has a superb location on the seafront of Playa Blanca. The large complex features five adult pools and a multisports court.
